Ag, Commerce Luncheon to be conducted Monday

The Slaton Ag and Commerce Luncheon will be conducted Monday (Sept. 27) from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Activities Center, 9th and Scurry streets.

Three people will be recognized at the event: Stuart Swanner – Farmer of the Year, Arturo Lopez – Farm Hand of the Year, and Larry Lee, Railroader of the year.

If it has been produced, the first bale of the year will also be honored.
