Kicking off 100 years of Slaton Bakery treats

A new sign decorates the storefront on 9th St. for The Slaton Bakery. It is one of a few signs, including a billboard along Hwy. 84 done by anonymous bakery fans, on display to honor the bakery’s centennial. The bakery is starting its 100th anniversary celebrations honoring when it first opened.
