Slaton sees increase in October sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an increase in sales tax revenues for the month of October. 

Slaton received $67,275.56 in October, a 4.43 percent decrease from October 2022’s $64,416.44. 

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $604,468.79, a 5.62 percent decrease from the 2022 year-to-date total of $640,476.68.

Post, Buffalo Springs and Wilson saw a decrease over the same time last year.

Ransom Canyon saw an increase.
