Slaton sees rise in December sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an increase in sales tax revenues for the month of December. 

Slaton received $58,433.70 in December, a 5.96 percent increase from December 2022’s $55,143.97. 

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $743,423.89, a 3.76 percent decrease from the 2022 year-to-date total of $772,535.80.

Ransom Canyon and Wilson saw increases over the precious year.

Post and Buffalo Springs saw decreases.
