Slaton Ag youth compete in annual Stock Show

The newly renovated Slaton Ag Barn on 20th St. was filled with the sounds of oinks, bleats. baas and moos as students showed off their animals during the annual Slaton Stock Show Friday and Saturday (Dec. 29-30).

This was also the first year the show conducted a rabbit competition, which was Friday.

Judges for the shows were Caitlin Frederick and Claire Mayo for the rabbits and Chad Orum for all other animals.

Winners received a belt buckle and banner, while all participants earned ribbons and money from the Slaton Stock Show.
