SEDCO conducts hearing, elects officers for year

The Slaton Economic Development Corporation conducted a public hearing, installed new members and officers during a special meeting Thursday (Feb. 1).
The hearing for Library of Legacies Townhome was opened at 12:05 p.m.
When no one spoke, it was closed at 12:06 p.m.
The hearing was for a project in the amount of up to $10,000 for a building construction grant.
SEDCO installed new members to the board.
Jason Corley, Carlos Garcia and Ryan Buxkemper took over spots held by Judy Thomas, Benny Arguello and Shannon Taliaferro.
