Schools announce top 2 graduates

Slaton, Roosevelt, Wilson and Southland announced their 2025 Valedictorians and Salutatorians last week.

SHS announced Adriana Rose Gonzales as Valedictorian and Lennon Elias Leyva as Salutatorian.

Slaton High School will conduct Graduation tonight (Thursday, May 22) at 7 p.m. at the Slaton High School Gymnasium.

Roosevelt announced Brendon Skorick as the valedictorian and Kadence Goley as Salutatorian.

The Eagles graduates will have commencements Friday (May 23) at 7 p.m. at the Arena.

Ciera Gonzales was named Valedictorian for Southland and Makaylee Green was announced Salutatorian.

The Eagles conducted their ceremony last Friday (May 16) at the school. (See story below)

Wilson’s Valedictorian is Daniel Vasquez and Salutatorian is Jaziel Pantoja.

Graduation will be at 5 p.m. Friday at Wilson ISD.
