Texas Museum Airshow Saturday
The biennial Texas Air Museum Airshow will be conducted June 14 at the Slaton Municipal Airport.
The gates open at 8 a.m. and the show runs from noon-4 p.m.
Scheduled to perform this year include are Mike “Spanky” Galloway Aerobatic Air Show, Miles Turner Airshows, Tora Tora Tora, Mark Marston’s Super Stearman, a CAF P-40 Warhawk, Ron Cain in his Super Chipmunk, and warbirds from the CAF and Texas Air Museum.
Volunteers at the Texas Air Museum were busy working on planes and setting up the airport for a large crowd this past weekend (June 6-7).
Food and drink vendors will be available.
The weather is usually sunny and hot, and is expected to reach the 90s Saturday.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for Children ages six-10.
Children under six are free.
