SEDCO approves HighGround membership

The Slaton Economic Development Corporation approved a membership with HighGround Thursday afternoon (July 17) during their regular meeting.

Executive Director Lezlee Harlan said the person who runs the program, Laurie Vincent, was an EDC director for Muleshoe and focuses on smaller areas for businesses to look at. She said she feels the group would be good at helping Slaton receive some retail.
