Tony Eugene Blisard, age 66, of Nolanville, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025, at his residence with his family by his side. He was born on March 30, 1959, to parents Alfred and Martha (Gravell) Blisard in the town of Slaton. 

He would grow up in the Brownwood area and eventually decided to serve his country in the United States Air Force. He served his country with great pride for four years. 

Tony met his lifelong love Sharlett (Harmon) Blisard and married her in Bruceville-Eddy on New Years Day, Jan. 1, 2014. They would go on to make a family together until his passing. They settled in Temple for five years and moved to Nolanville for the past five years.

He worked as a welder and provided a good life for his family because of his work ethic and commitment to his family. He had a wonderful and colorful personality, his favorite color being purple, his lifetime while on this Earth will be remembered with love and fondness. Tony was affiliated with Tomorrows Church of God in Temple; he showed his love and devotion in his daily life and will rejoice in God’s coming Kingdom.

Tony was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Blisard, also two brothers and one son Zachary Blisard.

He is survived by his wife, Sharlett Blisard of Nolanville, his mother Martha Gabbert of Salado, and daughter, Lindsey Blisard of Chicago. Tony also leaves behind a stepson, Armando Escalera III of Temple and stepdaughter, Norma Bergthal of Nolanville. He has two brothers, Bill Blisard of Salado and Joey Blisard of Brownwood. All who knew Tony will miss his presence but have many happy memories to help carry them on through their loss. He is happily resting in peace awaiting.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, Aug. 22, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Hewett-Arney Funeral Home in Temple and interred at the Central Texas State Veteran’s Cemetery in Killeen. The family ask that in lieu of flowers donations are to made to the Disabled Veterans Association.

Hewett-Arney Funeral Home of Temple has been entrusted with the care of all arrangements.
