Organic feed plant fires up in Slaton
A Slaton landmark is up and running, producing feed for the nation’s dairy and chicken farms.
Pink Rose Organix on Railroad Avenue began production of organic feed in August after a large investment and weeks of cleanup.
Pink Rose Organix is a firm of five partners in California and invested $2 million into the former Supreme Feed plant, which operated for more than 50 years in Slaton before closing down in 2008.
