Slaton ISD received a superior rating on the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas, with nearly a perfect score in all areas.
The district received a grade of ‘A’ on the FIRST report, with the only ding coming in the administrative cost ratio, which Supt. Julee Becker said was “a little above” the average ratio.
“We have perfect scores in all other areas,” Becker told the board during the public hearing on the report. The board of trustees approved the report.
