Tigers Share Tigers Care winter warmth drive kicks-off campaign
The Tiger Care Tigers Share Winter Warmth Drive kicked off its campaign at Friday’s football game, raising funds to provide clothing, blankets and other items for those in need this winter.
Kay Castillo revived the program with the Slaton ISD Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) program this year after its success two years ago. The fundraising drive was added this year to buy more specific items of need besides coats and blankets, such as undergarments, hats and scarves and hoodies.
“We want anything that will keep our families warm,” Castillo said.
