Three people file to run for Slaton mayor

Three people are vying for Slaton Mayor after a third candidate filed before last week’s deadline.

Clif Shaw and John Gatica have filed to run against incumbent mayor Dubbin Englund, who also filed before the deadline.

The drawing for the spot on the ballot puts Englund first, followed by Shaw then Gatica.
