Slaton sales tax rebate climbs in February

The City of Slaton saw an increase in its sales tax rebate compared to the previous year’s month totals.

Slaton received $67,621.45 in February, a 14.49 percent increase from February 2018. February numbers reflect December sales.

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $109,534.14, a 2 percent increase from the 2018 year-to-date total of $107,379.96.
