Slaton, other cities see increase in sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an increase in its sales tax rebate compared to the previous year’s month totals.

Slaton received $42,379.43 in April, a 13.59 percent increase from April 2018. April numbers reflect February sales.

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $202,707.80, a 9.45 percent increase from the 2018 year-to-date total of $185,202.19.

Post, Ransom Canyon, Buffalo Springs also saw increases in their April rebates.
