National Lemonade Day teaches skills for life

Lemonade Day was started in Houston in 2007. It is aimed at kids in Kindergarten through fifth grades.

The purpose is to teach youth about business and entrepreneurial skills.

They plan, set up and operate a lemonade stand. Ransom Canyon combined Lemonade Day with their annual garage sale last Saturday. The youngsters were enthusiastically pitching their wares in spite of the chilly, cloudy day.
