Council sworn in, discusses grant applications

Three were sworn in to council for another term Monday evening during City Council at City Hall.

Dubbin Englund was sworn in as mayor, while Weldon “Squeaky” Self and  Benny Lopez were sworn in as Commissioners I and III.

City Secretary Pam King read the canvass report of the election results  from the May 4 election and presented election certifications. She then swore in the members. Lynn Nowlin was elected Mayor Pro-Tem.
