SEDCO gets update on Type B transition

The Slaton Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors discussed the progress of transitioning into a newly elected Type B Corporation during a meeting Thursday afternoon (June 20).

Barbara Hopper, executive director of SEDCO, said she spoke with Brian Guyman about the progress of the elected corporation and the dissolution of the Type A Corporation.

She said the Board received a notice that the comptroller received SEDCO’s account status.

After Guyman receives the request to dissolve the Type A Corporation, Hopper said he will file the certificate of termination and do the transfer of agreements to continue the dissolution of the Type A Corporation.
