Slaton, area cities see big increases in sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an increase in its sales tax rebate compared to the previous year’s month totals.

Slaton received $44,982.69 in June, a 18.76 percent increase from June 2018.

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $313,550.54, a 7.21 percent increase from the 2018 year-to-date total of $292,459.91.

Post saw another decrease in June rebates while Buffalo Springs, Ransom Canyon and Wilson saw increases.
