Slaton Area Endowment introduces Impact Club

Locals helping locals has been a common theme in Slaton, particularly the past few weeks after a fire destroyed two local businesses and heavily damaged a third one.

Several fundraisers, donations and offers to help have been given to Klemke’s Sausage Haus, the Slaton Family Medical Clinic and Slaton Bakery.

Slaton Area Endowment however works to ensure that financial helping continues year round, be it large groups to small ones.

The group has begun its campaign to raise money to help local groups receive an extra push to accomplish their goals.

They’re also starting up a program to help those who want to help but can’t give large donations at one time.
