McDonald’s of Slaton celebrated the grand re-opening of their lobby Monday evening (Aug. 19) with a ribbon cutting at their store.

Bill Cohen, owner and operator, said they decided to do it this year instead of last year.

They started work on July 8, and completed it in a little over a month.

CKJ in Amarillo was the construction company on the project.

Cohen said they are still finishing up a bit of detail work to the lobby.

Cohen said McDonald’s wants them to remodel their interior designs about every 10 years.
