Boot Scootin’ street dance to be held Friday

There will be a Street Dance Friday (Oct. 4) from 7-11 p.m. on the Slaton Town Square, 9th and Garza streets. The event is hosted by the Slaton Chamber of Commerce and presented by Lorentz and Centennial Bank.

Performing will be the Rex Thomas Band and TJ Broscoff’s Southern Satellite. The show is free, and there will be food trucks.
