Three area workers in the farm and railroad industry were honored at the annual Chamber of Commerce Ag and Commerce Banquet Monday morning (Sept. 30) at First Baptist Church’s Activity Center.
Tommy Johnson was named Railroader of the year, Lloyd Kitten the Farm Hand of the Year and John Fields Farmer of the Year.
Also recognized was Texas Star Gin, who had the first bale of the year.
