Cities see increases in September sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an increase in its September sales tax rebate compared to the previous year’s month totals.

Slaton received $51,622.52 in September, a 8.62 percent increase from September 2018.

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $477,182.17, a 7.19 percent increase from the 2018 year-to-date total of $445,156.83.

Post saw a decrease while Ransom Canyon, Buffalo Springs and Wilson saw increases.
