City prepares for Nov. 5 special election

The City Commissioners were busy preparing for the Nov. 5 special election on Monday evening (Oct. 7) during its monthly meeting.

The special election is to fill the positions of Mayor and City Commissioner Ward IV,  previously held by the late D.W. “Dubbin” Englund and James A. “Buster” Tucker respectively, who died in May.
