Trick or Treat: groups to offer Halloween goodies

All treats, no tricks are being offered at several places around town this upcoming Halloween week.

Our Lady of Guadalupe will have Harvest Festival Sunday  (Oct. 27) from 4-7 p.m.

Library of Legacies will host its Trunk or Treat Oct. 29 from 5:30-7 p.m. at 1420 W. Woodrow Road.

Cathelene Thomas Elementary will host “Harry Potter in the fall festival” from 5:45-8 p.m. Oct. 29. There will also be a pumpkin walk.

First Baptist Church will be offering s’mores at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 31.

The Slaton Chamber of Commerce will offer Trunk or Treat Oct. 31 from 6-7 p.m. on the Slaton Town Square, offering safe Trick-or-Treating.

The Senior Center will have a Halloween party for seniors age 60 and older from 1-4 p.m. Oct. 31.
