Cities see increases in October sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an increase in its October sales tax rebate compared to the previous year’s month totals.

Slaton received $50,917.55 in October, a 12.57 percent increase from October 2018.

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $528,099.72, a 7.69 percent increase from the 2018 year-to-date total of $490,388.55.

Post and Buffalo Springs saw decreases while Ransom Canyon and Wilson saw increases.
