Military veterans sought to attend programs, events

Slaton High School will present its annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Nov. 11 beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the High School Gym.

There will also be  a reception immediately following for all veterans and their families. 

Those who would like their vet to receive a personal invitation from a SHS student should email the name and address to llboyd@slatonisd.net or call the SHS office at 806-828-5833 before Nov. 5.

The Slatonite will also recognize veterans in a special picture page Nov. 7. Those who would like to submit a photo may do so at the office, 139 S. 9th St., or e-mail to news@slatonitenews.com. There is no charge to submit a photo for the page.
