Santa, restored caboose to feature at Harvey House event

When guests visit the Small Town Christmas this Saturday (Dec. 7), they can also tour a bit of history while visiting Santa Claus.

The Slaton Harvey House will also be open during the Small Town Christmas. The house is located on 400 Railroad Ave.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there for the children and for photos.

The Harvey House will be selling hot cider and cocoa for $1 a cup as well as tickets for a gingerbread house drawing, also $1 each.

Food items such as gingerbread cookies and caramel corn will be sold for $1 each and the gift shop will be open.

In addition to the Christmas activities, guests can tour the Harvey House as well as the recently restored 1920s era caboose.
