Fire department receives new truck

The Slaton Fire Department received a new fire truck to fight brush fires Tuesday morning (Dec. 10).

Mike Lamberson during Monday’s (Dec. 9) meeting said the $222,000 truck was ordered a year ago, and was replacing a 20-year-old truck.
