Slaton, other cities see increase in sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an increase in its December sales tax rebate compared to the previous year’s month totals.

Slaton received $52,448.12 in December, a 15.11 percent increase from December 2018.

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $643,737.77, a 6.98 percent increase from the 2018 year-to-date total of $601,723.49.

Ransom Canyon, Wilson and Post saw increases while Buffalo Springs saw a decrease.
