4 arrested in burglary spree

A chance observation lead to the arrest of four people on multiple charges Friday (Dec. 27).

Nicholas Ethan Enriquez, 19, Nathaniel Josiah Campos, 19, Tyrell Collins, 17, and Dominique James Arguijo, 19 were arrested on charges of burglary of a vehicle, engaging in organized criminal activity (burglary), and unlawfully carrying a weapon.

Collins, an adult, was also arrested on a charge of possession of a firearm by felon.

Chief of Police Trevor Barnes said  there had been a string of vehicles burglarized at Twin Pine RV Park in the past few weeks.

On Dec. 27 about 5:45 a.m., a person was walking their dog and observed some younger people wearing hoodies walking around the park.

Officer Tommy Higgins arrived on the scene shortly afterward, and stopped the vehicle.

Barnes said Higgins identified all four and located a large amount of stolen property.

All were arrested.

The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office was called to assist with the arrest due to the number arrested.w
