City approves audit report

The City of Slaton commissioners heard a tough, but optimistic audit Monday evening (Jan. 13) during its regular monthly meeting.

They heard from David Copeland with Bolinger, Segard, Gilbert and Moss LLP, who does the city’s annual audit.

He said overall the records were in good shape, but the financial situation needs improvement.
