Alcoholics, Al Anon groups move to new location

The Downtown Slaton Alcoholics and Al Anon Groups have moved to the Mercy Center (old hospital), located at 605 S. 19th St. in Slaton.

The groups meet every Tuesday and Friday evenings at       8 p.m. Those participating can enter the emergency entrance exit, then turn right into the hall. The room number is 105.

The program allows people to share their experiences, strength and hope to each other, as well as work on their 12-step program. Everyone is invited to attend the programs, be it needing help with recovery or helping to understand what is going on with their loved ones.
