Snow day fun

Above, Slaton Fire Department members Ethan Johnston, Kade Gerner, Karl Gerner and Dale Lester work to build a snowman out of snow that fell late Tuesday and early Wednesday (Feb. 4-5) over Slaton.  Snows fell over much of West Texas, bringing in some places upward of a foot of snow.  For more pictures of last week’s snowfall, please pick up a copy of the Thursday edition of The Slatonite.
