Annual Chamber of Commerce banquet to be conducted Monday

The Slaton Chamber of Commerce will host its annual awards banquet Monday (Feb. 24) from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Activities Center.

The Man of the Year, Woman of the Year, Boss of the Year and Volunteer of the Year will be named.

The Chamber Directors and officers will also be recognized for their work.

Dinner will be catered by the Slaton High School Culinary Class.

The event is sponsored by Xcel Energy, the City of Slaton, Peoples bank and the Slaton Economic Development Corporation.

Tickets are $15 per person and are available at the door.
