Center to still serve seniors through delivery program

The Slaton Senior Center is usually busy during the weekdays, with seniors eating meals and playing Bingo, but currently, it’s quiet, as it is closed until April 6 to slow the spread of coronavirus.
That said, the seniors are not going hungry, as the center has decided to help diners.
“The Board of Directors voted on March 19 to close the dining area to congregate (in-house) diners,” said Director Nita Williams. “The diners were offered an option of home delivered meals or to decline at this point.”
