Slaton sees decrease in March sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw a decrease in its March sales tax rebate compared to the previous year’s totals.

Slaton received $44,196.96 in March, a 12.98 percent decrease from March 2019. Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $156,748.63 a  2.23 percent decrease from the 2019 year-to-date total of $160,328.37.

Ransom Canyon, Wilson and Post saw all saw an increase, while Buffalo Springs saw a decrease.
