The parking lot at the Slaton High School baseball field was filled with cars Wednesday evening (April 1).
If one thought it was to attend a baseball game, they would’ve fallen for an April Fool’s joke. UIL is not allowing sports to resume until at least May 4.
Instead, it was a time for people to worship during the shutdown caused by COVID-19.
This worship event is planned to continue every Wednesday from 6:30-7:15 p.m.
