Slaton, Post hit hard in April sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw a large decrease in its April sales tax rebate compared to the previous year’s totals.

Slaton received $38,702.79 in April, a 8.67 percent decrease from April 2019. Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $195,451.42 a  3.57 percent decrease from the 2019 year-to-date total of $202,707.80

Ransom Canyon, Wilson and Buffalo Springs saw all saw an increase, while Post also saw a large decrease.
