Slaton sees increase in May sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an increase in its May sales tax rebate compared to the previous year’s totals.

Slaton received $68,571.45 in May, a 4.11 percent increase from May 2019. Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $264,022.87 a 1.69 percent decrease from the 2019 year-to-date total of $268,567.85

Ransom Canyon and Post saw an increase, while Buffalo Springs and Wilson saw a decrease.
