Annual Car Show, Cruise to celebrate 25th anniversary

Registration is underway for car owners who want to participate in the 25th annual Rock and Roll Nostalgia Car Show and Cruise, which will be conducted July 17 and 18 in downtown Slaton.

A cruise will be conducted downtown that Friday evening (July 17) at 7:30 p.m.

Pre-registration will begin at 6 p.m. with a cookout to follow. Pre-registration for the show is $30 and will include the car cruise. Those wanting to be in the cruise itself but not the show can do so for $10 per vehicle.

The show itself will be from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. July 18. Registration and move in will begin at 7 a.m.

Entry fee will be $35 the day of the event.

Prizes and awards will be presented at 4:30 p.m.

Social distancing protocols have been put into place to ensure everyone’s safety.
