Damron State Farm celebrates move to new location

When Joel and Misti Damron started work in Slaton as the new State Farm agents, they had a bit of a challenge in the first few months.

“Our first year here in Slaton has been a roller-coaster to say the least.   Shortly after we took over a huge fire claimed a landmark of our community when the Klemke Sausage Haus was destroyed by fire.  I believe that this event was a very painful one for our community,” said Misti Damron. “However, I believe that this has caused our community to come together and be a great reminder of how tight-knit our community really is.”

Now, they celebrate a more positive change: They moved to their new location, 105 W. Panhandle St., this past week.
