Cities see increase in July sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an increase in its July sales tax rebate compared to the previous year’s totals.

Slaton received $56,924.41 in July, a 34.65 percent increase from July 2019. Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $374,003.32 a 5.10 percent increase from the 2019 year-to-date total of $355,824.94.

Ransom Canyon, Buffalo Springs and Wilson saw an increase, while Post saw a  decrease.
