A sweet treat

Above, McDonald’s guests say “hi” to Rapunzel, while Slaton Police Department Sgt. Steve Dekraker waits his turn to introduce himself Thursday evening (Aug. 6) during Cones 4 Cops at McDonald’s. Santa and Spiderman also made an appearance along with other officers.  The event was to let the community meet the officers and enjoy a free ice cream cone. The event also raised money for Santa Red & Blue.
