Cities see increase in August sales tax rebates
The City of Slaton saw an increase in its August sales tax rebate compared to the previous year’s totals.
Slaton received $74,612.30 in August, a 6.99 percent increase from August 2019. Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $448,615.62, a 5.41 percent increase from the 2019 year-to-date total of $425,559.65.
Ransom Canyon, Buffalo Springs and Wilson saw an increase, while Post saw a decrease.
