Deadline for remaining grants set for Sept. 11

The City of Slaton through the Slaton Economic Development Corporation, Type B is offering local businesses the opportunity to join the EDC as promotional partners to publicize the City of Slaton as a great place to start or grow a business. 

The deadline to apply for one of the Operation Together COVID-19 grants is Sept. 11.

Interested businesses should  visit the EDC website

slatonedc.org to print an application or come by the EDC office at 101 N. 9th St. Slaton to pick up an application. 

Promotional partners may be eligible to receive one of seven remaining grants, $1,500 each, for their work in promoting the City of Slaton. 

Only a limited number of businesses can become promotional partners, as limited funds are available. 

Qualifying businesses selected to become promotional partners will be selected on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

Successful applicants will be contacted by the EDC before serving as a promotional partner and will need to complete additional paperwork.
