Slaton sees slight drop in monthly sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw a decrease in its September sales tax rebate compared to the previous year’s totals.

Slaton received $51,064.21 in September, a 1.08 percent decrease from September 2019. Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $499,579.83, a 4.71 percent increase from the 2019 year-to-date total of $477,182.17.

Ransom Canyon, Buffalo Springs and Wilson saw an increase, while Post saw a  decrease.
