South Plains Genealogical Society to conduct online meeting Oct. 10

Those who are interested in their family history, whether a beginner or have been researching for years, are invited to attend a South Plains Genealogical Society meeting Oct. 10 at 10 a.m. The meeting will be online.

Those who are interested in viewing the meetings from the safety and comfort of home need to contact the society as soon as possible at spgsnews@gmail.com.

They will personally walk those interested through the steps and take them through a trial run before the next meeting.  Non-members are always welcome.

The meeting will feature Henry Ray Lozada, President of SPGS, who will present, “The First Declaration of Independence in Texas in 1813.”
